Description
DynamoDB point-in-time recovery (PITR) restores data from a selected time within the retention period to a new table. This recovery path is unavailable when PITR is disabled.
Potential impact
Other backups alone may not restore accidentally changed or deleted data to the required point in time.
Remediation
Set PointInTimeRecoveryEnabled to true in PointInTimeRecoverySpecification when point-in-time recovery is needed, and verify the restore procedure.
