Description
disable_monitor_service = true disables automatic monitoring-agent installation when creating a CVM instance. Operational metrics may be missing if no separate collection method is used.
Potential impact
Resource shortages or performance degradation may be noticed late, making outage investigation harder.
Remediation
Omit disable_monitor_service or set it to false when the agent is needed. Verify metrics and alerts; review the possibility of OS reinstallation when changing an existing instance.
Examples
The examples retain default monitoring at creation. Use an image and instance type supported in the target availability zone.
