NIFCLOUD DNS verification TXT record remains

Remove temporary verification records after DNS zone registration.

Description

The nifty-dns-verify= TXT record verifies ownership during DNS zone registration. NIFCLOUD instructs users to remove this authentication record after confirming registration is complete.

Potential impact

Completed verification data remains unnecessarily public and can be confused with DNS records that are still needed.

Remediation

Confirm zone registration and correct name resolution, then remove only the relevant verification TXT record. Retain records required for services or other verification processes.

Examples

The examples replace the verification value with a service TXT value. If that service record is not needed, remove the resource instead of replacing its value.

Before

hcl
resource "nifcloud_dns_record" "example" {
  zone_id = nifcloud_dns_zone.example.id
  name    = "test.example.test"
  type    = "TXT"
  ttl     = 300
  record  = "nifty-dns-verify=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"
}

After

hcl
resource "nifcloud_dns_record" "example" {
  zone_id = nifcloud_dns_zone.example.id
  name    = "test.example.test"
  type    = "TXT"
  ttl     = 300
  record  = "service=active"
}
